The Head Quarters for Delmec is in Carlow, Ireland. The company was originally started as D&P Delaney Ltd in 1975, renamed as “Delmec” in 2000, so in 2020 the company celebrates 45 years since set up and 20 years as Delmec. In 1975, 3 brothers Danny, Liam & Patrick Delaney identified a growing opportunity to supply of products and services to the Telecoms industry – first starting in Ireland. This insight was well founded as the telecoms market grew significantly over the following decades with the development of mobile, internet, wireless and fibre technologies and the huge demand for connectivity – personal and business. Now with Global presence and offices located through out Europe, Africa & Asia, the Irish office remains at the heart of the Group and has developed a team with a vast amount of knowledge, expertise & first hand experience in the Telecoms industry.
Delmec’s Chief Executive Officer, Kealan Delaney is the son of one of the founders and has strived to keep the family business growing and succeeding in both the local market and international markets.
