The Head Quarters for Delmec is in Carlow, Ireland. The company was originally started as D&P Delaney Ltd in 1975, renamed as “Delmec” in 2000, so in 2020 the company celebrated 45 years since set up and 20 years as Delmec. In 1975, 3 brothers Danny, Liam & Patrick Delaney identified a growing opportunity to supply of products and services to the Telecoms industry – first starting in Ireland. This insight was well founded as the telecoms market grew significantly over the following decades with the development of mobile, internet, wireless and fibre technologies and the huge demand for connectivity – personal and business. Now with Global presence and offices located through out Europe, Africa & Asia, the Irish office remains at the heart of the Group and has developed a team with a vast amount of knowledge, expertise & first hand experience in the Telecoms industry.
Guided by our Chief Executive Officer, Kealan Delaney, the son of one of our founders, Delmec Engineering has expanded both locally and internationally. His dedication has led us into new markets, and his commitment to the family legacy is the driving force behind our success.
